Team Coaching

Coaching, not just consulting

Improvement roadmaps only work if teams actually adopt the changes. That’s where coaching comes in. I work alongside your teams, not above them, to embed new practices in daily work.

This means pairing with engineers on CI/CD workflows, sitting in on standups and retrospectives, facilitating difficult conversations between teams, and helping leads shift from directing to enabling. The goal is always the same: when I leave, your teams are better at delivering than when I arrived.

I adapt to what’s needed. Sometimes that’s technical coaching. Sometimes it’s helping a team lead have a better conversation with stakeholders. Sometimes it’s simply making bottlenecks visible so the team can solve them themselves.

What this looks like

  • Embedded coaching with delivery teams over weeks or months
  • Facilitating retrospectives, improvement workshops, and cross-team alignment
  • Coaching leads on delivery discipline, flow thinking, and stakeholder communication
  • Training sessions on specific practices (CI/CD, testing strategies, DevOps, flow metrics)
